I love our Evangelical Covenant family!  Greetings from sunny San Diego, California!  Erin, myself, Pastor Char, and Kirk have just spent a fabulous week at the Covenant Midwinter conference for pastors, spouses, and church leaders.  I love our denominational family that cares enough to give us some of the best teaching, preaching, worship, and yes, some much needed time on the beach.

I hear I missed the joy of shoveling show a couple times, but I look forward to being back and catching up with our beloved Faith Covenant family!   -Pastor John Foley

Here are a few things coming up....

Small Group Kick-off
We're ready to launch! Our newly formed leadership team is in place, group leaders have been trained, and we're excited to launch several new and varied groups this month! Please be praying now about taking a leap of faith and joining a small group. On February 17 you will receive a brochure outlining all of Faith's small group options, and on February 24, Pastor David Stark will lead our worship service, which will be followed by a time to connect with leaders and sign up for a group in the lobby.

Hymn Sing
Whether you like to sing hymns in the choir, sing in the pew or just listen to those great old songs, mark your calendar for Faith’s second Hymn Sing Sunday, March 17 at 4pm.  For those joining the choir (we do need you!), rehearsals are March 12 from 6:30-9pm and March 16 from 9am to 12 noon. Email Jen to sign up: [email protected].

Prime Time Luncheon
If you are 55 or older, you are invited to a luncheon on Thursday, February 14 at 11:30am.  We will enjoy great food, wonderful fellowship, and hear from Reverend LeRoy L. Carlson about artist Warner E. Sallman and his well-known painting “The Head of Christ”.  Please sign up today in the lobby or call Elaine at 952.890.2086 by noon Monday to RSVP.

Faith Food Outreach
Sign up Sunday in the lobby to volunteer at Food Outreach! There are many ways to volunteer, and an hour or two of your time can make a real impact in the lives of the families we serve. We also need donations of children’s books and stuffed animals. Please drop off at the Connection Desk. For questions, contact Sue: 952.432.5745 or [email protected].

Homework Helper Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help elementary students with homework on Thursdays from 4-6pm. No teaching experience is necessary! Please contact Karl or Amy Peterson for more information at 952.882.0675 or [email protected].

"Jesus and the Qur'an” Wednesday Classes
