Hello beloved Faith Covenant Family, from pastor John Foley. As we prepare to come together for a special fall season of church (our 50th year at FCC!) I am humbled by God's goodness to me and my family.  This August marks one year that I was called to come back home to FCC and serve alongside Mike Lotzer as Co-Lead pastors.  Thank you for this amazing blessing to serve and follow Jesus with you.  I wanted to give you a little preview of our sermon series this fall, Come Together: A Journey Through Ephesians

Sermon series theme:   The Beatles were right—some things are just made to come together.  …Cookies and milk, peanut butter and jelly, the Vikings and a new stadium…well I guess we will see on that last one. More importantly, have you ever considered what or whom God intends to come together? What God wants to join into one? Join us this fall at Faith Covenant Church for a journey through the book of Ephesians as we explore what God asks to come together. heaven & earth, grace and good works, men and women, your gifts and my gifts…it’s all here in a new sermon series. So let’s come together every Sunday morning this fall at 9:00 and 10:30!

I also want to highlight other opportunities to come together this fall:

Water of Life course: (Wed's 6:30-8pm, Sept. 26-Nov. 14)  Pastor John be facilitating this exciting Wednesday evening adult opportunity.  This course is ideal for people who desire to move deeper in their walk with God. A “freedom in Christ” ministry committed to equip and disciple Christian believers to understand spiritual warfare, experience personal victory over spiritual obstacles, and learn how to live an abundant life in spiritual freedom. You can worship at Faith Covenant at 9am and then walk across the street to Civic Center Park to worship with the greater Burnsville community.  After worship, bring your lunch and a folding chair to watch the Fire Muster Parade (1pm) from Faith’s parking lot. 

WOMENS BIBLE STUDY
Women’s Bible studies return on Tuesdays (9:30am and 6:30pm) beginning September 11. This fall’s study is Daniel, by Beth Moore.

CBS - COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY 
CBS returns to Faith on Mondays (7-9pm) beginning September 17. Mark your calendars, invite your neighbors! No need to sign up before hand, just show up to the first one. Click here for a list of topics. COST: $25

YOUTH AND CHILDREN
Youth and Children’s Ministry mid-week programs begin with joint worship time and an open house on Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30pm.

ADULT CLASSES
Keep your eyes posted for a variety of options for adults, beginning Sundays, September 16 and Wednesdays, September 19.

Hello Faith’ers. Jon Oney here. Can you believe this weather? I love it! It is a little more cooler in the evening and from where I live on the bluff in Saint Paul it is perfect picknic weather.

This next Sunday we don’t want you to miss the final conclusion of our series called “Seeds of Faith.” We have heard from many who have planted churches from out congregation. Pastor John Foley will be giving us the message on Sunday to wrap things up. It is a weekend you don’t want to miss.
